At the heart of Formula Space’s CableGuard™ is a forensically traceable liquid system; trusted by private companies and law enforcement bodies globally as a provider of intelligence-led security.
The tried and tested forensic technology is a highly effective crime deterrent that is sprayed onto suspects marking skin, clothes, vehicles and tools with a uniquely identifiable UV-glow that is impossible to contain once a cable cut is attempted. CableGuard™ installations are being carried out nationwide out from Monday (April 14th 2025) on chargers across 12sites in association with development partners InstaVolt who have been instrumental in the R&D of the product alongside the Formula Space team.
With CableGuard™ scheduled to hit the open market in six week time, demand for the product is expected to surge as the theft of EV charging cables continues to gain national media attention and sites across the UK continue to suffer downtime.
