Being fully pre-cast means no shuttering, no curing time and no on-site drilling, allowing chargers and plinths to be landed on the same day.
Despite their lighter weight, EZ Blocks deliver 5kN more strength than ordinary concrete because of their specialised low-carbon formulation.

EZ Blocks are specialist pre-cast concrete bases designed from day one for EV pedestal charging. Every block is shaped, engineered and manufactured to match the geometry, fixing patterns and cable access requirements of modern AC charging hardware.
EZ Blocks use a specialist low-carbon concrete formulation developed specifically for EV infrastructure. The mix significantly reduces embodied carbon while maintaining the strength and durability required for long-term outdoor installation.
The block geometries are shaped to align perfectly with the bolt patterns and baseplates of leading AC chargers. Because the design is built into the mould, there is no need for on-site drilling, modification or adaptation.
The open-leg profile provides a stable footprint, clean cable routing pathways and efficient weight distribution. This engineered shape keeps the blocks manageable to handle while maintaining excellent structural performance.
Before EZ Blocks, pedestal chargers relied on generic concrete pours that were slow, inconsistent and heavily affected by weather and contractor technique. EZ Blocks were created to eliminate these inefficiencies and bring standardisation to AC charger foundations.
